“The beaches are closed.” That’s what they say. It’s for the good of the state of Florida, its county, and its people, but it is hitting hard for the spring kids. “Nobody is allowed on the beach or in the water,” shouts the Walton County Sheriff to a bunch of kids just beginning to dip their toes in the cool, summer waves. They have to leave now due to the shutdown.
Shutdown the beaches of 30A till April 30, 2020 (or beyond) Walton County will re-evaluate that situation around that time.
You’ll build your sandcastles, play in the surf, and paddle a ball back and forth with your dad again before you know it. We will beat the virus and open our beautiful Florida 30A beaches again.
